Everyone has already talked about the first (genius) viral ad Pixar created for Lots-o’-Huggin Bear, but Amid over at Cartoon Brew pointed this Japanese version out, and I had to share.

Pixar is really being creative with their viral marketing for Toy Story 3, I’m loving it!

Just in case your wallet hasn’t had enough Toy Story preorders in one week, the Art of Toy Story 3 book has just been put up for preorder on Amazon, and it looks amazing!

The book will be available on May 26, 2010, and you can be sure to read a review here as soon as I can get my hands on one. You can preorder the Art of Toy Story 3 on Amazon.

Lee Unkrich, our favorite Pixarian on Twitter, just posted some cool Toy Story 3 news via a video he made.

The biggest news is that Disney will be extending the run of the Toy Story 3D Double Feature to allow more people to see it. I kind of saw this coming, because why wouldn’t Disney want to make some extra money by having it stay in theaters longer?

Also, Kristen Schaal will voice a new (and as yet unnamed) character in the film. You may recognize Kristen from the Flight of the Conchords HBO series.

Also, the new voice of Slinky Dog was announced as Blake Clark. Lee explains that Blake was actually friends with the late Jim Varney, and that he seemed to channel him in his recording sessions. I can’t wait for June 18th!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but things should start picking up here soon. Before we know it it’ll be June and we’ll all be talking about this wonderful film!
