I Visited Pixar (From the Outside)

July 31st, 2009 | Posted in News

If you’ve taken a look at the About page on Pixar Fanboy, you’ve seen that picture. This was taken last week in front of Pixar in Emeryville, California. As I mentioned in the last article, we went to San Francisco for vacation. One thing I was super excited about from the beginning was knowing I’d could visit Pixar, even if it was only from the street.

We kind of felt like dorks standing in the 55 degree weather on a Friday morning taking pictures of each other in front of the gate, but it was worth it! They’re doing a lot of construction, and there was a sign that said it was for “Pixar Phase 2.” I know there are plenty of people who go there every day and don’t think anything of it, but it was still special to us!

    Thanks!
They don’t allow the public in (hence why I was standing around outside like a dork), but I’ve heard that employees can bring guests to lunch, etc.
All we have to do is befriend some Pixar employees!
