Here’s the TV spot for the Toy Story Double Feature that’s been floating around for a couple days now. I love that they actually put some care into these and aren’t just editing a bunch of clips together.
Also, there’s another reason to be excited about this. The Toy Story 3 trailer will be attached to the double feature! If you’d like some spoilers on the trailer (with new plot details), head over to Jim Hill Media for his round-up.

Here is a closer look at the Luxo Jr. Collectable Desk Lamp set that will be released on November 10th, along side the other editions of Up and Monsters, Inc. It includes a working Luxo Jr. lamp (with a base that will hold all of your Pixar Blu-rays), and the 4 disc Up Blu-ray.
It’s going to retail for $199, but I’m sure it will be less at big retailers. Which version of Up are you going to buy?

Pete Docter’s two classic films Monsters, Inc. and Up are going to be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 10th. They’ll be available as one disc DVD sets, or as 4 disc Blu-ray/DVD/digital copy sets. I will definitely be picking up the Blu-ray sets the day they come out. Even if you haven’t made the jump to high definition yet, I highly suggest going ahead and getting these. You’ll have the film on DVD and as a digital copy, but you’ll also have the Blu-ray for later use.
The Up Blu-ray set sounds amazing, containing both Partly Cloudy and the new Dug’s Special Mission shorts, as well as a whole lot of documentaries chronicling the making of the film, and the filmmakers’ journey to South America.
You can pre-order Up and Monsters, Inc.

Remember the ice cream parlor that Russell mentions eating Butter Brickle with his Dad in Up? It’s called Fenton’s Creamery, it’s in Oakland, California, and my wife and I went there last week. Pete Doctor couldn’t have found a better establishment to promote in his film, because its been a family owned business for 115 years, and has the best ice cream in the world.

Lou Romano, art director and voice of Linguini at Pixar, has just posted some more of his wonderful color script for Up. I love seeing how close to the finished picture a lot of these concepts are. Make sure to head over to his blog and check them out!

I am just a fan, hence the site's name. If you work at Pixar and would like to offer me a job as a director, animator, cook, janitor, or resident fanboy, please contact me and my wife and I will make arrangements to move to Emeryville as soon as possible.
